WWE 2K22 releases a new gameplay trailer that showcases the content featured in the expensive nWo 4-Life edition of the game.
WWE 2K22's release date is right around the corner, and fans will have multiple versions to choose from come launch. There will be the standard edition of the game, the cross-gen bundle, the deluxe edition, and the nWo 4-Life Edition, which is the most expensive at $119.99. To promote the WWE 2K22 nWo 4-Life Edition, 2K Sports has released a fresh trailer showing various New World Order members in action.
The WWE 2K22 nWo 4-Life Edition trailer shows Hollywood Hogan making his famous black-and-white nWo entrance and gives players a glimpse at some other nWo members as well, like Syxx (better known for his time in WWE as X-Pac) and Kevin Nash. It then cuts to in-ring gameplay, with Kevin Nash delivering a chokeslam to current WWE Champion Bobby Lashley in an nWo-branded ring. Fans also get to see Scott Hall perform a Razor's Edge on Drew McIntyre as well.
In the new WWE 2K22 nWo 4-Life Edition trailer, fans can also catch a glimpse of Eric Bischoff, who appears to be serving as Syxx's manager during a match between him and Rey Mysterio. The gameplay snippets are brief but impressive, reiterating WWE 2K22's high-quality graphics and smoother presentation when compared to previous games in the series.
Those interested in purchasing the $119.99 nWo 4-Life Edition of WWE 2K22 will want to know exactly what it comes with. It will offer fans the most-complete WWE 2K22 experience, giving them three days early access to the base game, the Undertaker Immortal Pack (which includes three costumes for Undertaker), the Season Pass that will give players instant access to the five DLC packs planned for the game, a Mega-Boost for the MyRISE mode, SuperCharger packs, and limited edition content for the WWE Supercard game. Those that get it on PS5 or Xbox Series X will also be treated to the Starrcade '96 Rey Mysterio Pack as well.
On top of all this content, the WWE 2K22 nWo 4-Life Edition also includes the MyFACTION mode EVO cards based on the nWo members, as well as special nWO attires for Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and Syxx. It makes Eric Bischoff available as a playable character, adds the WolfPac Championship to the game, and gives players access to the WCW Bash at the Beach 1996 and WCW Souled Out 1997 arenas.
Even so, $119.99 is quite the asking price, especially when WWE 2K20 was such a poorly-received game. Time will tell if WWE 2K22 is able to course-correct the franchise, but with the release date right around the corner, fans won't have to wait all that much longer to find out for themselves.
WWE 2K22 launches March 8 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
