Update: Man shot to death after killing Pa. police chief, wounding officer: police
UPDATE 7:30 p.m.: Multiple news outlets are reporting that the suspect, identified as Aaron Lamont Swan, Jr., has been shot and killed by police in Pittsburgh.
KDKA is also reporting that the deceased officer is Brackenridge Police Chief Justin McIntire, who died at the scene.
One police officer has been killed, and another injured, in a shooting in a borough outside Pittsburgh, multiple news outlets are reporting.
Both WPXI and KDKA are reporting that one officer is dead and another injured following an incident that occurred around 4 p.m. in downtown Brackenridge, which is located roughly 10 miles northeast of Pittsburgh.
The suspect is at large, according to KDKA, and police have put out a notice for the suspect’s vehicle, a silver 2014 Subaru Legacy with the license plate GMA8620.
