This is a support programme currently offered in both Broadland District Council and South Norfolk Council areas to help local businesses to grow and prosper, adding to the local economy.
We will provide entrepreneurs looking to start-up in business with access to quality advice and support – including paid for use of a comprehensive online business start-up training package. Going through our Foundation programme first will get you on a better footing to be able to apply for grant support later on, once you start your business.
For businesses that are already trading we will provide access to grant funding backed up and coupled with access to specialist mentoring and training courses at the Council’s Carrowbreck training centre.
Those businesses in their early stages of trading (first 2 years) can apply for grant support of up to £1k towards specific purchases that help to progress the business.
Where the business is more established (have been trading for 2 years or more) an application can be made for grant funding of up to £5k towards specific purchases that help to support the growth ambitions of the business.
